Buescher Aristocrat Trumpet

This beautiful horn dates from about 1935. This instrument was obviously well-cared for and carefully stored away, it only needed a good cleaning and polishing.

The trumpet is satin-silver plated, with bright-silver tuning slides and a gold-plated bell rim and interior. The engraving on the bell has gold-plating interwoven into the design. Really a great look. The pictures don’t do it justice. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd tuning slides all have a reverse slide setup. Very unusual for a 2nd slide to be made this way. The 2-piece main tuning slide has a lock nut on it. Even the case was in great condition - the springs in the latches still worked! Still with the instrument was the original Buescher #17 mouthpiece, pristine in condition.
